Bringing you upto date

Some of our beers have now featured at The Star Inn Beer Festival, Huddersfield and the Headingley Ale Festival.
As well as what are now becoming regular beers such as '1st Duke' and 'Beau Douro' we have brewed:



 ...............and our new Christmas Beer currently on the bar, 'Mysore Rocket'. 4.4%............a beautiful ruby coloured, spiced ale.

News: Our beers have been entered into the Nottingham Beer Festival 2011

Two of our beers have been entered into The Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival, 'His Grace' and 'The Beef'.
The festival will be held in the grounds of Nottingham Castle 13th, 14th and 15th October. The venue is open 11-00am -11-00pm and tickets can be purchased at the Nottingham Tourism Centre on Smithy Row or call 0871 231 0847.
They have a record 848 different cask ales available.............sounds good to me!

News: Hull and Eat Yorkshire CAMRA Beer Festival

Great News:
Three of our beers will be at the Hull and East Yorkshire CAMRA Beer Festival this weekend!


'1st Duke' 3.7% (soft copper, English malt, dry hop finish)
'The Beef' 4.5% (dark chestnut, rich aroma, bitter)
And a new one, which will also be available soon on the bar in the pub:


'His Grace' 4.7% (pale, citrus aroma, light hop)

Some of our beers will also be at the Nottingham Beer Festival in a couple of weeks.

Named 'The Beef' of cause one of Wellington's nicknames, it is a rich, dark brown beer at 4.5%a.b.v.
